I'm pretty sure I checked all my usb devices on first install of 10.3 and they worked. My mp3 player and memory stick still work but my camera mounts then gives an error message "cannot connect to the device" The one that work are mounted via /dev/sdc1. Halmout which is part of ivman may be helpful in manually

After install of XP the screen will go blank, nothing that i have done will fix this. If system sit's a while it will go into standby? the green light on the monitor will turn yellow. When you move the mouse teh light will go back to green, the hard drive will spin up and the screen will be blank.

To save changes type :write To check changes, type "startx -- -verbose 5-logverbose 5 reboot in the event of a blank screen, to failsafe. type "cd /var/log" type "ls" you should see the file "Xfree86.0.log" this tell you everything about your settings hope this helps.

BBS Under OS/2 & Blank Screen After Install
I have been installing software lately on my computer. After the installation completes, many require a restart. If I choose to restart the computer, it shuts down and begins to restart but never leaves the blank screen. I cannot even turn off the computer using the power switch on the front.

After I do a install of the server the Video does not work, when it runs in Normal mode, but when I run safe mode it work fine. I have the video card resolution 1024x768 the max that is goes. I put another video card in the pc and it work fine, until i reinstalled Windows agian and that one when blank also.
